The 7th International Visual Informatics Conference 2021 (IVIC’21) is jointly organised by Institute of Informatics and Computing in Energy (IICE), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), and Malaysian Information Technology Society (MITS), in collaboration with a number of local and overseas universities. The conference aims to provide an opportunity to share current research works, technologies and applications in the field of Visual Informatics for professionals, engineers, academics and industry practitioners worldwide. The theme for this year’s conference is Digital Innovation, Transformation and Sustainable Technology in Reinventing Nations. IVIC'21 program will feature keynotes, workshops and technical paper presentations. The conference will be held from 23rd to 25th November 2021 and will be conducted fully online. The keynote and the parallel sessions will be conducted on the 23rd and 24th, while the workshop sessions will be conducted on the 25th of November 2021.
All accepted papers are expected to be published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series, Advances in Visual Informatics. The renowned LNCS Springer is indexed in ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Science (CPCI-S), and included in the ISI Web of Science. Furthermore, conference participants who are Professional Technologists under Malaysian Board of Technologist (MBOT) can claim 12 CPD hours for participating in the conference (either as presenter or as attendee)
There will also be a number of best paper awards to be given to selected papers with exceptional scientific contributions as evaluated by the technical committee. These include the Badioze Zaman Award (which carries a monetary prize of RM 2000.00), the MyAIS Best Paper Awards and the MITS Best Paper Awards.
