Instruction to Authors

Specification

Authors should submit original research paper in English, that has neither been published nor submitted for publication elsewhere, which has been proofread to ensure correct grammar and spelling, on a topic related to one or more of the conference tracks.

All papers will be reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical quality, and relevance to the conference theme.

Submissions imply that at least one of the authors has to register and present the paper at the conference if the paper is accepted.

Formatting

Authors need to format their papers according to LNCS Guideline of Publication as specified in Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of papers.

Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers.

Authors are required to ensure accuracy of quotations, citations, diagrams, maps, and tables.

Figures and tables need to be placed where they are to appear in the text and must be clear and easy to view.

Each paper is limited to 12 pages (including the title, abstract and keywords, all text, figures, tables, references, and appendices). Additional pages (page 13 and above) will be charged at RM250.00 / USD60.00 per page.

Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts should be submitted to IVIC'21 Easychair online submission system.

Camera Ready and Consent to Publish Submission

Upon acceptance, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the Consent-to-Publish form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the file have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the paper cannot be made. Please submit the Consent-to-Publish form in PDF format, during conference registration. 

All papers must adhere to Springer Verlag paper format guidelines and must be submitted in either Microsoft Word or Latex document format, together with its PDF version. For papers prepared using LaTeX, authors should also supply the underlying bib file for the references.

Submit the camera ready version and Consent-to-Publish form to IVIC'21 Easychair online submission system.
